'18 TN OL/DL Cade Mays (Transfer)

No...and I say this with nothing but respect...I think you have it down.

I don't know why he brought that "info". I don't like it when people besmirch our players or commits. There are ways to say things without personally attacking these kids. Especially someone like Cade who everyone says is a great kid.

You know I was kidding, right?

Cade is a testosterone fueled teenager whose judgment is a couple of steps behind the rest of him. Big news.

I figured. I can certainly be a jerk but I do it for a good cause... usually. :)

This thread is incredible

If an opponent treated Tennessee this way... I don't know, maybe like OU's Striker, the hate would never end, but everyone is blinded by his commitment.

SMH. Obviously a supremely talented kid who needs to grow up, show basic sportsmanship and keep a high intensity in the midst of it.

Why do we swing to extremes?

There are a lot of posters on here who just can't stand a subtle argument. No shades of gray allowed. It has to be black and white, one extreme or the other.

So Mays plays with a nasty streak?

hell-yeah_o_613467.jpg

Cade Mays was the most dominant player on the field Friday, but what can also be certain is he was also the biggest punk bit** on the field as well.

Nick,
Here is the problem in this thread. Maybe Sam could have worded his post differently, but I did not have a problem with what he said.
This post is way out of bounds, however.
He will probably disagree, but I doubt he would says these words to Cade or his dad.

Speaking of "extremes", are you accepting Cade's detractors accounts as gospel? Just sayin...cuz I'm not.

Agreed. You can say that Cade seemed overly aggressive and possibly disrespectful without calling him a punk b***h. Especially when all other reports have been to the contrary and that Cade is a great kid who plays mean between the lines. He can clean up his play and be respectful but he doesn't deserve to be trashed in his own thread.

Perhaps if more people had called Cade a punk little bit** and actually corrected his behavior, he wouldn't actually be a punk little bit**. I was at the game, and I called it as I saw it.

I called Tee Higgins repeatedly a little bit** in his thread as a result of what he did to our coaches in July 2016. I never had anyone call me out in that thread. Cade and Tee are/were both dominant players. Both had the opportunity to come to UT, but one ultimately went to Clemson. So why the difference now? The answer is obvious: if the kid is committed to the VOLS he's infallible, meanwhile any other kid should and does get thrown under the bus.

Your comment calling Cade's behavior as" possibly disresctful", you know when he cursed at opposing coaches, spit on an emblem before the game, mocked an injured player, and then refused to shake anyone's hand at the end of the game, is the best example I could give of my point above. The kid acted like a punk so I called him a punk. Get over it.

Bigger question is why an assumed adult is going around calling high schoolers punk bi????? on an internet forum, if you have such a personal issue with it why didn't you say something to him or his family about it?

Isn't it extreme to listen to one side and make a judgement call on a 17 yr. old that hasn't showed this side before? I haven't seen any other news about it. Just this one guy.

Wow.

You must be somebody important.

Or maybe you should stop calling kids names...

Or maybe you need to own it, and say your stuff to their face? Would never happen and we all know why.

Ok. I still think you are wrong for the way you went about it. You are an adult right? I think you might need to reevaluate your behavior and the fact that you feel the need to call kids names. Anyway, I'm done with you too. You won't recognize that you messed up because you've got some agenda against the kid now.

And I still don't think he would say it to Cade or his dad.

You had a press pass correct? So you could get close to players right? Did you call Mays a punk little b**** to his face? Or are you just being a little punk b**** behind a keyboard on a message board?
