I dont think he really had info, I’ve only noticed him a few weeks ago and he was posting for recruits that we already had in the boat for the most part

Does anyone besides me think that negative recruiting about the NCAA investigation may be having an effect on these recruits? After all, we were lead to believe that mess would be over in June and we have not heard anything. If other schools are telling kids we are about to get nailed then that would likely cause uncertainty about our program, regardless of what kind of staff we have or our performance last year. Something is killing our momentum. Especially when you consider the athletes we have had visiting.

We lost a 3 star OL to Clemson and so our OL coach sucks? Clemson doesn’t have any OL commits and maybe the kid just prefers Clemson? Good luck to him. And don’t forget our crappy OL coach had his guys dominate on the field vs Bama and Clemson’s elite DL last fall. I’ll take an elite on field coach every day of the week.

We used to beat our chests on NSD under Butch for signing all those 4 & 5 stars and not winning anything significant once the season started.

We actually have coaching now and it’s paid off.

We currently have two 4 star OL committed this class and in a great spot for 4 star OT Warren and 50/50 for 4 star Satterwhite. I’d argue that’s better than “less than good”. Plus OL position has a lot to do with development and coaching. We’re doing better than good in that department I’d say.

Transfer, Transfer, Transfer, stud, transfer, transfer, harrison is #1 to start season, #3 on depth chart, neither are starting, not starting #2 at SDE behind Baron, transfer, transfer. can't bash him for high school recruiting and going to the portal when 7/13 are transfers

It’s always a team effort. It’s not just one guy recruiting these kids.

The majority is transfers and you are assuming those guys are starter…. So far Crawford and squirrel is the only two that have any kind of significant starting time. As long as we continue to have good offensive line play then I am happy.

Oline is a position where you can be solid with all 3 stars if you’re good at coaching the position imo. We got a good coach there. That’s all I’ll say about it.
