'24 TN OL Ronan O’Connell (Clemson commit)

I hope you’re correct but it seems fans always say “bigger fish are coming” or @we didn’t want@ when we lose a recruiting battle.

I’m not referring to you but just a general statement.
Well, sometimes it's true.

It's not that we didn't want him. It's that it's not a big deal that we didn't get him. I mean, O'Connell is just a 3 star ... Tennessee is in on better O-Line prospects than this kid. If he was from North Carolina, would we even notice that a 3 star Offensive Lineman had picked Clemson over Tennessee? No way.

What was a harsh punishment? My wife having to marry me? I agree she deserves better.
You said you "By the grace of God I was burned and raised in God's favorite state of Tennessee and married a good southern girl." Did they use cigarettes or a propane torch?

Most coaching staffs seem to always have a room where they have trouble getting enough talent and it seems like the offensive line room is that area for Heupel thus far in his Tennessee tenure.

Good luck to the kid. He probably watched the bowl game and decided his easiest path to early playing time was at Clemson.

They are laughing at UT over on Chemson's board saying they are eating our lunch on every recruit that comes down to them and us.
I mean, they did beat us for Connor. We did want the guy on OL, we offered first. He visited the revival tent, Dabosteen stabbed his lookalike plush doll, he pricked his finger and made a deal with him. CULTure.

However, id also like to add we are in on bigger fish.

Link? Want to pocket for the next couple of weeks to check in on their Matthews and Satterwhite threads.
