It looks like Bama may have decided to take Parker instead of waiting on Mims. It doesn't mean they will automatically get him but the buzz a few days ago was that they were going to wait and take their chances with Mims. Maybe they got info that Mims was going elsewhere, who knows, but Parker looks more like a Bammer today that a few days ago.

That would be great, getting 2 true tackles is important imo. We have plenty of inside guys now that can get the job done. I was only worried about tackle depth.

Something to think about, Alabama may be recruiting him to play defensive tackle as well. Parker has played that position as well & Bama also is trending with another DT in Tim Keenan. If I’m not mistaken, we had offered him but never really seriously pushed for him.

Let’s start with the next decision up and that’s William Griffin-Parker who will make it all public next Friday. After doing some digging, we believe Tennessee still remains in good shape here. Alabama got a few predictions across the industry this week, but in talking to people the Vols seem to have withstood a push from the Tide. Now Florida isn’t going away and some have said they are a darkhorse here.
