callahanWilliam Parker is set to announce a decision on Sept. 4, so we’ll probably have a prediction for him within the next couple weeks. I just don’t know yet if it’s going to be Tennessee for him. Alabama has made that one really, really interesting. I could see it going either way at this point.
-VQ.It’s 2 weeks until William Parker pulls the trigger. Tennessee continues to be in good shape there with Alabama falling a bit according to people we have spoken to close that recruitment. Florida continues to push hard for Parker and they have given him something to think about but he still hasn’t been to Gainesville.
So you are basically trying to say Parker tried to commit but Alabama wouldn't take the commitment because they are waiting on Mims to decide? Well aren't we lucky to be there to catch what is left over for us.Alabama decided to wait on Mims. They would have preferred Mims decide before Parker but they had to choose to take Parker or wait and see what Mims does since they can only take one more OL. If Mims had decided to go elsewhere they would have pushed for Parker.

Smart decision by Bama, from all we hear Mims is huge on Bama so I could definitely see where they would roll the dice and wait.Myself I hope they on both, but they still are loaded unfortunately caus there Bama ugh
No, I'm saying that after Mims decided to push back his commitment date Bama had to choose whether to push for Parker or wait for Mims. They decided to wait for Mims, mostly because of the players they already had committed. They may or may not have gotten Parker but by waiting on Mims Parker will certainly go elsewhere.
