'25 TN QB George MacIntyre (Tennessee commit)

As I said earlier I'm super excited about Nico and Jake. But there's no such thing as a guarantee when it comes to 18 yr old HS QB's. DJ Uiagalelei was rated higher than Nico on 247 and he definitely hasn't lived up to the billing. Hoping Nico and Jake both do!

Which is an example of why recruiting rankings should be taken with a grain of salt. No one should look at those two guys in high school and conclude that DJ is in Nico’s league, much less better. Guarantee Heupel didn’t.

I still prefer this guy over Deuce Knight and that’s not a knock on Knight.

I just think he’s more polished right now.

Deuce is a better fit for the offense though. Unless Heupel is planning on going to a Joe Brady type of offense mixed in with what we currently run. Which wouldn’t surprise me if we get Matthews and Wingo, but I’d rather have Knight to be honest

Prob why Heupel is recruiting him - bc he doesn’t see him as a good fit for his offense

I don’t think a qb in our system has to be a Hendon Hooker type mobile qb. I think Heupel can adjust the offense around the qb’s skills. Like with Milton this year, we may have more designed QB runs, since Milton has good straight ahead speed, but maybe not as much short area quickness and wiggle as Hooker. Probably the qb at least has to be able to keep the defense honest as far as movement and escapability.

Who? ESPN.... their rankings were a joke, and we all know why others had Arch ahead of him. This is also considered to possibly be the best class of high school QBs ever.
If ARCH wasn't a manning he would be rated alot lower, put it this way he is no Peyton in saying this lets see what he does on the field, he might not see the field till next year unless it is mop up duty.
