'25 TN QB George MacIntyre (Tennessee commit)

"MacIntyre will be at the Vols game on Saturday in the stands as recruits aren’t allowed to attend unless they buy their own ticket."

Just absolutely classic VQ wording. Sentence structure makes me think they left out a "not" in between "will" and "be" simply because of "as recruits aren’t allowed to attend unless they buy their own ticket."

I assume though, that what they meant was "EVEN THOUGH recruits aren’t allowed to attend unless they buy their own ticket, (he bought his own)"

Presuming he makes the effort to be there, and coming off Heupel being in the stands tonight, have to think we'll be carrying a TON of momentum in this recruitment.

NOPE. They were detailing why he would have to be in the stands instead of on the field or special guest area since it is not a home game.

I am just sorry that we are going to cost him in the service rankings. He will get passed by any QB headed to or considering the darling schools.
Every single fanbase says this crap and all of you look like whiny children who are desperate for validation. No one is victimizing you for being a TN fan. It’s all in your smooth little brain, pal. But if it makes you feel better to moan about how “everybody hates Tennessee” them go ahead. It’s just so ironic that TN is the ONLY school that “everyone hates”. Like you actually wanna believe that the Vols are the only school receiving special “discrimination” and everyone else gets treated equally.

It’s all BS that grown men use to cope with their own disappointment when a kid goes from 93 to 91, like it even matters.

I have half this board on ignore and you still see cringe shite like this in every single recruit thread.

Go back on this site and you will find MULTIPLE VOL commits where guys that pulled the trigger for us are demoted in their star rankings. From Memory I think the current poster child is Spillman, or his teammate who went from a 95 to a 90 type rating on more than one site during the offseason. Not after a bad game, or a series of bad games. There are better guys than me to provide detail, maybe they will.

You shouldn't let it trigger you so badly.

I could make a very accurate model for rating HS football players that doesn't use a single measurable or statistic. You can leverage the hundred million dollars that all teams are putting into scouting by simply basing your model off of nothing but offers, visits, and where the player commits.

And regardless of what On3 or 247 say, I think the predictive ability of using destination to modify a rating is too high for them to ignore.

So it isn't about some kind of anti Tennessee bias. If we keep putting 4-5 players in the NFL every year, there will be a Tennessee bump just like there is a Georgia or Bama bump.

Byron Young 3 Star
Jaylen Wright 3 Star (rated 38th best RB in class)
Squirrel White 3 Star (ranked 84th best WR)
Dylan Sampson 3 Star (ranked as 36th best RB)

Those rankings don’t mean sh*t.
The idea that 24/7 thinks there are 137 players better than Kaleb Beasley is fu*king laughable.

Chandaveon Bradley, Johnathan Echols, and Daevin Hobbs were all 5 stars. In each case they were dropped to a 4 star within a month of committing to UT. It's a thing
