'25 TN QB George MacIntyre (Tennessee commit)

Nico would be a junior by the time he hits campus. Why wouldn’t he want Nico to be good? If Nico’s stinks it up it could cause problems because he would worry about development.

Either way, it would be Nico’s 3rd year on campus when GM arrives. If Nico is as good as we hope, he’s gone in 2 years so this shouldn’t affect GM at all.
Tennessee's ideal starting QB situation:

2024: Nico Iamaleava (RSFr.)
2025: Nico Iamaleava (RSSo.) (then goes pro because he's played stellar)
2026: Jake Merklinger (Jr.) (then goes pro because he's played stellar)
2027: George MacIntyre (RSSo.)
2028: George MacIntyre (RSJr.) (then goes pro because he's played stellar)
2029: Jared Curtis (RSJr.)
2030: Jared Curtis (RSSr.) (then gets drafted because he's played stellar)

I know the likelihood of these guys all sticking around for this to play out is probably unlikely, but I said "ideal."

That's a very clear crystal ball you have there-----any lottery numbers in there

I’d like to see us be so good at qb that we replicate the early 2000s Southern Cal and have a bunch of one and doners that win heismans and make gobs of money in the nfl.

What do you think of it? Idk too much about him. DCA has been solid but jumping from DII-A to DII-AAA is no small feat. Seems like a solid hire tho reading into it
Decent hire……but he’s never had this kind of talent, or expectations.
Not sure he’ll rally the BA higher ups
