2025 5-star quarterback George MacIntyre is zeroing in on a decision, and we believe January will be the month. Nothing has changed in his recruitment for us as we believe Tennessee has done a fantastic job with the Brentwood Academy signal-caller. Head coach Josh Heupel made it clear on signing day how key the state of Tennessee was in the class of 2025 and MacIntyre is a big reason why.

I wouldn't say no to either. I'd tell them we want both. And I'd take both if they both want in. Make one of them say no.

There are more positions of need this year, versus last years.

I think that it keeps getting said speaks to the advancement of football at the high school level in the state of Tennessee.

I’m not going to put much into current rankings. Wouldn’t surprise me to see that number much higher when it’s said and done.

MacIntyre, Jackson, Sparks, Carter Jr (though guess he’s technically from Kentucky now), Jimcoily, Morgan, Gooden, Utley, Leonard-Jean Charles, Shivers, Edwards, Grant, Hall, goree, mowl, Owens, Wallace, Mills-Knight all have potential to be Tennessee caliber players imo.

There are others on the state rankings as well but I’m not familiar enough with any of them or tennessees recruitment of them to make any observation about them.

Won’t be top 5 because of in state alone (not possible in Tennessee), but if we are selective and still take nearly 10 players from in state, especially with the players we know we are in on for the 2025 class (as many or more blue chips as 2024, and hopefully with a better close rate with the ones we most covet), that speaks a lot to both the aggregate and best talent available in state.

Me neither. But if the staff views two players as identical value and attributes and no more interest in recruiting from one school vs the other, why not take the Tennessee kid?

I think we would take Madden if he is the best QB we are recruiting. If he isn’t, we take the best we can get, if he fits the mold the coaches want.

Both won’t end up at UT. Gonna be tough to get 2 QBs in a single class moving forward.

I think GMac will be the guy bc Heup doesn’t miss on QBs when he goes all in and reports are he has with GMac.

But we find out in January most likely according to VQ or whoever said that he plans on making a decision in Jan.
