He’s from the Lane Kiffin tree as far as cutting players and coaches on a whim and still have others ready to sign up. Sales thing. Always remember when Kiffin left for USC, there was a coveted staffer he wanted to bring with him. She turned him down FOUR different times, but he kept pushing. Last pitch he brought Monte in to talk to her on the phone and begged her not to break his Daddy’s heart…that crap works I guess. 😒 Makes sense that Saban bought into car dealerships early in his Bama gig.

Any context about BA’s 2-10 season with a 5 star QB? Was the rest of the team that awful? I find that record to be interesting, especially considering BA’s rich football history.

They were pretty awful. Terrible Oline, below average WRs, very hard schedule, and no coaching at all. The perfect storm to waste a 5* QB.
