You do realize every recruiter/recruit does that. But with that said, I wasn't trying to stir anything, I was serious. Bama's starting QB and top recruit entered the portal and they have no QB with starting experience left (not sure about the Washington transfer), so it was a legitimate concern even with Saban retiring.

Cunningham? His high school is about 25 miles from MSU's stadium, so it's not hard to imagine that he grew up wanting to play there when he was young. But he really has a bigger opportunity here. We just have hope he fully opens his eyes to it. GMac should help. Neyland should help. Our roster and coaches should help.

Have you kept up with this at all? Everyone knew before Saban retired and AL lost 1/3 of their players. If he had delayed his announcement to give the new AL coach time to change his mind, you might have had something to worry about.

When did Jalen Milroe enter the transfer portal? For them to have no QB with starting experience that would have to be the case.

I didn't have any doubts.

And besides, in the interview he did with AP he said he committed to heupel before this weekend. So he's been a silent for some amount of time.

So regardless of what any of us may believe, there was no threat from Bama.

I believe that to be the case, however when interviewed by On3 yesterday afternoon, and asked about peer recruiting - he mentioned how he and Pope have targeted Marcus Harris and Jaimie Ffrench as well as some in state kids.

Might have just been an oversight but it immediately caught my attention that CC wasn’t mentioned.
