Right, the last three *starters*, one which only made the league after being rehabilitated elsewhere. What about all of the other QBs that went to Bama and never played? My point remains. While I think it is extremely unlikely that he flips, those acting like there is zero basis or benefit for him to do so are failing to see the benefit of being the big fish under Heupel rather than being yet one more at Bama.

Unless you were already providing that benefit under the table before NIL. These boosters were providing money for players and expecting nothing in return but wins and access. Not sure how making it legal changes their initial desire. It actually provides them with a tax write-off, now, which it didn't before, and they still get the access to the players and program. Wins are still yet to be determined.

I can assure you that Ty would be a take. You could make an argument that long term Jackson might be a better fit for the offense, but the staff wouldn't turn down one of the top-QB prospects in this class if Ty changed his mind lol. It's ludicrous to suggest otherwise.

I disagree, I don’t think it’s a given they’d accept a commitment from him if he changed his mind super late in the process without them even speaking with him. Just an opinion

You know this is an interesting take and it could be true. Now according to VQ mods there hasn't been any dialogue between Ty and the staff at all. Maybe his Dad has talked to the staff. I know this would be a crazy deal but let him come in as a preferred walk-on. I know they would take him that way. I mean if he can get an NIL deal worth a million or something paying his own way wouldn't be a problem. Look I know that's a ridiculous take or statement I just made. I just don't know if he is a take for this staff right now. He might be but Vols already have a loyal Tayven Jackson they are going to sign. If Hooker comes back Ty Simpson wouldn't be starting anyway. Not sure he would start if Hooker goes Pro and Milton is the guy next spring.
