'22 TN QB Ty Simpson (Alabama commit)

Could turn out like Cade Mays. Go away from your home state only to finally realize you made a mistake and come back home where he belongs.

It could be like the case situation with him coming back home but only if he doesn’t win the job. Young has at least one more season and you know they’ll have a solid 3 or 4 deep qb room competing for that job. If Simpson doesn’t win it at that point I’m sure he’ll transfer and no doubt he’ll consider us as we’ll be one of the most exciting offenses in the country. But honestly at that point I hope Jackson turns out to be the player we all think is possible and Simpson will likely have to sit behind him (if he transferred here) as Jackson would have a 2 year head start. But there are so many maybes in there. The good news is offensively (and specifically at qb) we’re in the best shape I can almost ever remember with heupel’s at the helm. Very few individuals in college football have the track record of developing qbs that he does. Times be a-changin y’all!!!

So you have never been mislead by a friend before I see.
Oh I have. I don’t believe this one would mislead me but he certainly might not have a good source. We shall see. It was very unusual for him to bring it up out of the blue so maybe it’s legit but it seems unlikely.

In the end I have full confidence in coach JH to have at least one of our QB's on the roster ready to excel. We'll be fine either way.
