'22 TN QB Ty Simpson (Alabama commit)

I know there this infatuation with Ty Simpson due to him being a Tennessee kid that’s a 5 star. But we should definitely forget about him. He doesn’t really care about representing his state or being a home town savior type. He was to go to the place with the easiest path forward. And he sees bama as that. And he’s probably right honestly. But Tennessee has the best “quarterback coach” as a head coach in the sec. And we have a great high school quarterback that wants to be here. I honestly believe in 3 years Ty will question not wanting to be here. We’re going to put up a zillion yards per year under heupel and I believe it’ll feel like a lost opportunity for Ty one day. He’d get more recognition helping get Tennessee back to a championship level than he’ll ever receive just being another bama qb

Nobody is going to be concerned with not getting TY when you have a coach that has had high level QB success every year. Literally no reason to care. Tayven has elite talent potential. Raw but his ability is through the roof along with his leader mentalityS his entire family were stud athletes so odds are he will be too. Transfers and Future recruiting classes will have nonissue bringing in QBs that nobody will care about Ty. Ty would have been a perfect fit in this offense. He chose otherwise a long time ago and was never a flip option.

Wrong - it will not keep Arch from committing to Bama. Ty might enter the portal down the road - once Arch commits to Bama. Way too much high profile interest in Arch for him not to start wherever he commits.

That's what Quinn Ewers 5* and Justin Fields 5* thought going to OSU and UGA , respectively. Bottom line is, usually if a QB is working, coaches are hesitant to change.

My prediction is that Arch Manning will be starting by his Sophomore year - no matter where he goes. Not solely because of talent. Bottom line is that if two quarterbacks are working - and one is named Arch Manning - good ole Arch will be
starting.

I’m predicting he will flip to us so I don’t think we need to forget about him just yet, just put him on the back burner for a moment.

Really? Just doesn’t seem likely but what do I know. I’ve read like one article about him ever other than what’s been posted on this website

I don’t know him or know much about him either. I’m not connected but I have a friend who says he has a good source telling him Simpson will flip. I’d tend not to believe it but I do trust my friend and he has never done anything like this. We shall see.
