I hope Ty will not let Clemson HC bully him by threatening to pull the offer and requiring him to shut down his recruitment, all in the name of "commitment."
I hope Ty will not get caught looking at coordinators and position coaches at Bama who will not be there in a year or two.
I hope Ty will give HC JH a chance to really recruit him to UT, because deep down, that's where he knows he wants to be. I hope he decides to come and throw in with his home state, and become the legend that we believe and need him to be.
I know things look bad now in Knoxville, but with his play and leadership, coupled with Coach Heupel's ability to coach QB's, UT could be on the upswing early in his college career.
(Ty Simpson will prolly never read this, and I know that, but y'all keep saying 'cruits read this stuff ...)
If he chooses one of those other schools it’s likely bc it’s all but guaranteed that 1) he’ll play for championships and in big games on the national stage, and 2) he’s all but guaranteed to be in the NFL after his college career.
I don’t think it’ll be because he’s bullied by a coach or because he thinks he’ll be playing for the same coordinator for the entirety of his career.
This is the quote I didn’t like:Blue-chip QB Ty Simpson previews his college decision
Also mentioned Jimbo Fishers son plays for his dad and “we’ll win a national championship there”![]()
-VQTurning our attention to 2022, Quarterback Ty Simpson is trying to figure it all out by hitting the road for in-person virtual visits. He is expected to see Tuscaloosa, Clemson, and Knoxville one more time before making a decision. He still plans on February 19th but we don’t think that is written in ink and if he isn’t ready he may choose to pull back. Tennessee isn’t out of this one just yet as Heupel has made him priority #1 by getting Simpson on the phone each day. That is something Pruitt won Simpson over with and Heupel is hoping the same approach can make magic happen to close out his recruitment.
