There are several ways around it….. fake addresses….. living with a relative/ friend….it’s hard to get it investigated too thoroughly….. I do feel that when a team starts recruiting guys that are stars at other schools locally that they are going to get busted….. it happened to Knox Christian recruiting basketball players.

Knox Christian was busted for illegal recruiting and banned from competing against TSSAA teams…. That ban was lifted at the beginning of the 2019 season…

When I was at BGA in the late 80's....Brentwood Academy had 4 kids on their football team from Ohio???? It's been going on a looooong time.

Yup. Anderson County used to grab some of the better players out of Campbell county and the city of Clinton when I was there in the late 90's. Probably still do and probably recruit on a wider basis now. Like someone already said, everybody does it. This even goes down to the middle school level, and has for years.

Don’t have to see anything. My brother talks to Redmond, Greene, etc. and they all talk to Bishop. Just talk among them that he is transferring to Powell, that’s it.

I know this answer….. this is a new invention called a message board….. it is a place where we can discuss girls sports, high school sports, pro sports, guns, politics, favorite eighties movies, cooking meat, and anything else people want to comment on….. Personally, I don’t care anything at all about Powell High School….. I hope Desean Bishop comes to Tennessee though…. My favorite High school team is Alcoa and they do their fair share of recruiting.
