I have asked a few times about whats going on with our RB recruiting but haven't heard anything on what's going on with Gray. Ron, Gucci Hole n the Roof, you guys got anything ? Appreciate it.
From all accounts, were “in a good spot” with Gray which means the staff likely feels confident he’s ours.
Have to say it seems they’re just being very selective with the final few spots.
So why do you think we are offering other RB's? I know nothing is for sure so is this what all this about, just in case?
We dont know if all those offers are committable. But if you watch the film of the RBs they have offered recently, it looks good. I would imagine that they have to have contingency plans.
Totally agree with all of what you said. They do have good film just was wondering cause all the sudden (to us recruit junkies) more RB's are getting offers or we are looking at them. Was just hoping that it wasn't bad news on Gray.
Because we hired elite recruiters who know if you wait until your top choices say no to approach backup plans? You waited too long. Pruitt has backup plans to backup plans. Last year our staff discovered Jordan Young...lost him and had Tillman ready to sign. Butch had backup contingencies too but Pruitt’s seem more football intelligent. So why do you think we are offering other RB's? I know nothing is for sure so is this what all this about, just in case?

I like the sound of that.My Michigan buddy says that most Michigan insiders don’t think Gray stays with them. He is supposed to go Ann Arbor this weekend to see Indiana game. There is talk he won’t make it. If he doesn’t make it in, it means he won’t have seen a single Michigan game. He committed on his OV over the summer.
They also have Charbonnet committed. He was the number 2 pick for the UA game (after Wayna Morris).
