'19 TN RB Eric Gray

Vol?

We’ll see whether Tennessee decides to really push for Gray. This obviously put the Vols back in the discussion, and they at least have been staying in contact with him. But we’ll see in the coming weeks whether they get more serious about him now that they’ve seen him in person.

I kinda wonder if Gray’s size is what they are looking for in a back. They seem to like the bigger backs for this system, though I’m of the opinion that you take the best and tweak the system to fit.

5-10 185 has a very limited amount of positions in CJP’s mold. Db/wr.

Lausanne is not a great school for athletics in Memphis, and they don't play the best competition in the area. Rarely see a lot of D1 talent come out of there.

I understand the coaching staff wanting bigger backs, but every team needs a smaller quicker change of pace type of back IMO.

Actually their talent level has been rising the last couple of seasons, they still don’t produce much P5 talent but they have started producing FBS talent.

I agree with this, but I assume if IMG wanted to take him, then he has some pretty good ability.

I know a former Memphis player, who I believe knows Gray's dad. We discussed him a while back. It sounded like he is really considering mostly local schools, including Memphis.
