Have I sure? I have a buddy that refs UT practices. So I go sometimes.

It is either a violation or they see it as no benefit. But it isn't because Jimmy down the hall in equipment is too busy.

Jimmy's schedule is almost certainly part of the cost/benefit analysis. Never said it was the only reason.

Is it a violation to print jerseys with the recruit's name?
I was wondering the same thing. Seems like that’d be an awesome recruiting feature.
I don't think so, its just really impractical and expensive to print customized jerseys for the hundreds of recruits that visit.

It's not. UGA did it with several. Nolan and Sanders for sure. Mainly for huge recruiting weekends, like this one.

*edit* Apparently it is NOT allowed. Oops

Jimmy is irrelevant. If there were any benefit they would do it, if Jimmy complained, they would find a new Jimmy.

Unless something has changed recently, it's not allowed for the school to put the recruits name on anything. Not Jerseys, cakes, locker room plates, etc.
Preciate that clarification batm... err Bruce. Could have sworn I saw UGA doin it but it was probably an edit.
