It's funny I was listening to ESPN radio last week and Peter Burns was arguing that UT is a blue blood program that will be back to national prominence with the right hire and the other guys were saying UT is dead. Burns challenged them to name 1 blue blood program that was down for over a decade and never came back. They immediately answered "Nebraska" then all laughed. I think Frost will return them to the top of the Big 10. I thought they were dead forever simply because Nebraska is hard to recruit to, but Frost may prove me wrong. He seems to be going after some big names and they seem to be entertaining him.

Yeah the one's saying UT football is dead and will never come back were complete idiots. Burns actually made the Bama argument. Burns has said some things about UT in the past I didn't like, but he really took up for us during the coaching search. He completely understood why the fans revolted and made it public. It made me respect him.

We really haven't done a great job of locking down Tennessee at all this year. Of the top 20 in Tennessee, we've only landed 4 by my count. Vandy has landed 4 as well.

Hoping Pruitt addresses that.

We've gotta do a better job getting into Memphis as well. Memphis has a TON of recruits, including Banks and Carvin that we're talking about here.

Agree. I haven't frequented recruit threads in a long time. It got really slow in here. There is a new energy in recruiting and it's exciting. :rock:
