Happens every year. Mike Weber is still at Ohio State after being recruited by a coach who already had his next gig lined up.

I'm not sure what exactly happened, but you would think CJP has one helluva RB coach lined up to cut ties with CRG like that! Fulmer stated that CRG was unaware, so it had to be CJP's decision.

You guys think maybe coach G had fallen into a laid back, cruise along pattern with the old crew? Coach Pruitt comes from Saban where it’s all football and work all the time. Maybe Pruitt just thought he wasn’t going to work out for the expectations he has.

I highly doubt that. Pruitt just wants his own guys, everywhere. He can win/lose on his own now.

That wasn’t even the basis of my argument. My point was, you get comfortable with one set of people and the way they do business, and boom, change happens.

No worries. The source I'm getting it from is extremely reliable and very closely involved with his recruitment. I don't expect anyone to take it as the word of God, just passing along what I've been told.

Love his work ethic. I really wish this kid was an EE.

I know a lot of people, myself included, was kind of underwhelmed with our '18 class when considering some of the names we were in on, but hats off to this staff for landing both Carvin and Banks, when at the time of the hire, it looked like the former was going to Miss State and the latter hadn't even been recruited by Tennessee.
