'25 TN RB Shekai Mills-Knight

The mistake was on my end.

IIRC the question to RC was something like “who else from Tennessee should fans be aware of” … they had touched on Sparks earlier so RC basically said Sparks and Mills Knight. Said we want the Vandy commit LB to camp, and if he shows what they think he will we might prioritize. Said we weren’t prioritizing Chauncey Gooden (Clemson commit)

All paraphrased. It’s on the Radarious Jackson 247 pod (no Wes, so tolerable). I listened at 5am on my drive to work so still half asleep.
I see. Preciate the clarification.

Sneaky amount of underrated talent in Tennessee this year. There’s about 25 SEC level players in Tennessee this year.

This kid is a late bloomer, but I guarantee come November this kid is going to be on everybody’s want list.
Of the RBs on UT's board, this is the one I like most. He's got some coachable things he could clean up, but his top end speed is really impressive for a guy that big.

Baylor is bringing in multiple kids next year with a Canadian connection and one potentially that is still at Clearwater Academy in Florida. A 6’4 265 Dlineman 2026 already commited to Rutgers. A 2027 safety/athlete that already has an offer to Oregon and at least two other 2026s that will play major college ball with elite speed. Also bringing in a 6’5 285 pound olineman from Canada. I expect these players to gain significantly more interest at Baylor

The 2027 Canadian with an Oregon offer is a running back. Rutgers also doesn't have 2026 commits?

He may well be that position but tough to project after his freshman year. Other kid has committed to Rutgers on his social media but could be just interest? . You will know better than me. Two other 26s coming in already have offers from Syracuse. Not saying they will be elite but worth monitoring as they have elite speed. The other Olineman at a prep school in Florida that is 6’8 310 3 star is a possible addition there as well but not yet a sure thing to go to Baylor. I always appreciate your information and when you post I pay attention.

Would that OL be Gabriel Osenda? Would make sense since CAI in Florida shut down. He’s from Canada it looks like. Has an offer from Tennessee and Syracuse among others. @Imvolin423 ?

Yes but still up in the air with admissions. Might be waiting until school year ends to be official or not. I’ve been told he wants to go to Baylor.

We got a couple on the roster that bigger with speed now in Seldon and Kieth… I still want this kid too tho
True, but so far - when Seldon is healthy- he hasn’t really shown the ability to run behind his pads. Like Bishop who’s 20 lbs lighter. Speed? Absolutely has shown that and hands too. But he needs to run lower and with more anger.

Keith looked decent in short yardage but he needs to continue straining and getting quicker.

Knight will be a great addition with Lewis.

Shekai Mills-Knight got a visit from Joey Halzle and De'Rail Sims earlier in the week. Mills-Knight continues to reiterate plenty of positive thoughts about Tennessee. He will visit officially the weekend of June 14th, and this will be an important visit as his mother will get to accompany him. She will not have the opportunity to travel to all his officials, so he is excited to show her around campus and have her spend time with the staff. They have done an excellent job of making her feel like a priority also.

That’s true with Seldon. Had completely forgot about him haha. Keith is nowhere near the speed of Seldon and then SMK.

Seldon has the potential to be a downhill back but like @LittleVol was hinting at he might still be a one cut and go guy instead of a true power back

“They have continued to heavily recruit me,” Mills-Knight told Volquest of the relationship with Tennessee. “Coach Sims has texted and called me every day. Coach Heupel gives me a call about three times a week to just check up on me and see how my family is doing. I feel like we are building a strong relationship.”
“When I was up there, I definitely got to see the type of run schemes they run and how they get the running back open,” Mills-Knight said of this. “It is very one-on-one where the running back has to beat one dude, and I feel like that is really great. I would be able to produce a lot because of the great O-line and schemes they run at Tennessee.”
Mills-Knight will take an official visit to Tennessee the weekend of June 14th. This will be one official visit his mother is able to accompany him on, making it even more important.

“I feel like just having the opportunity to show my mom that is the type of environment I could be in for the next three to four years is really important,” he said of. “Just showing her everything, the education, and the
“I feel like it will be more about the culture than football,” he said of this. “I already know they are a great football team and will be one of the top teams in the SEC this year. It will really be seeing more of the culture right now.”

Yep. And Lewis isn’t really big but he isn’t small either.
