Yep. And Lewis isn’t really big but he isn’t small either.
Yeah I agree. I'm not saying he is Jaylen Wright by any means but he runs similar to him IMO with that bigger frame that's one cut and go upfield. Think if they can get a bridge OL (until we get these 2025s up) to put up front a RB room of Seldon, Lewis, SMK would be scary

The 2024 OL class aren’t BRIDGES. At least a couple of multi-year starters in that crew vs a class that hasn’t even had a verbal commit yet.

Offensive lineman take a couple years to develop. I meant until the 2025s get in the rotation bc it would be the 24 and 25 classes being the rotation with bringing another good class in 2026 in if they keep the pace. You have to get to that point tho and that's the bridge. Should've worded it better. We got two years to bridge up front. Lance Heard will help at LT but outside of that there isn't anything guaranteed to hang your hat on

Hoping Sham can get some good playing time this year and be ready to start in 2025.

Getting Shekai Mills-Knight back to town this weekend can only be viewed as a positive for Tennessee, as he is set to potentially take six official visits in 21 days starting next weekend. De'Rail Sims has done nice work in this one, and the Vols will look to continue building momentum here with this weekend's visit.

“Was welcoming,” Mills-Knight said. “They’re like a big family. The whole staff was welcoming and fun, competitive too. Environment was exciting. Got to meet a lot of big-time players and it excites me knowing I may end up playing with such a strong group.
“I feel like the resources there compared to other schools are unmatched.”

One of my really good friends I grew up with son Christopher "CG" Gordon might be the best athlete to ever come out of Baylor once it's said and done. He will be a 9th grader this year. One definitely to watch in the future as a RB/LB depending on how he grows and right now a better baseball player then football. Already chosen for the All American baseball game and has a perfect game profile. Ambidextrous throw both left and right pitching and has great size for his age. Has great genes too as dad played WR at MTSU and brother played college football too at a small college and sisters all played sports too.

Could he play WR? Baylor has a big time 2027 RB coming down from Canada this summer

I'm sure he could. He is head and shoulder above other kids his age physically at this point and just wait until 3-4 years strength training. I think he is about 6'1 or 6'2 already and built like athlete, he is just now working with the strength coach at Baylor and learning how to lift weights, etc... I'm glad he is at Baylor now where his brother played too. More opportunities.

Until now, baseball has been his sport so he is still learning football. But his father was the same way at this age. We all grew up together and we all played baseball together on travel teams but we went to different high schools. His father was better in baseball too at around the same age but dad was a great, great athlete and started playing football at Brainerd HS and even though was recruited by several colleges in baseball, he ended up actually signing and playing WR at MTSU so I can see the same thing happen with Chris.

But 4 years to go so way early and lots can happen or he may even stick to baseball only. Just remember this name for the future. Either way, I'm pulling for him because his dad is family and my mom and dad basically was a 2nd dad to his father so I will be in his ear non-stop if Vols ever recruit him in baseball or football.

Another kid at Central HS Royne Watson. I grew up with his dad Rock too and his dad is family too. He is a stud too and being recruited by lesser schools like Central Michigan and several MAC schools and other smaller schools. He plays QB/DB at Central but I think schools are recruiting him at DB. Comes from a great family and pulling for him too.

His baseball skills will help him tremendously in his football future.

When did his father play at Brainard?
I remember Marcus High, Tyrus Ward, and a few other guys from there.

Kid is an incredible recruit in baseball and a great athlete. Excited to watch him develop.

83-87. Father graduated Brainerd in 87 and signed with MTSU. Back then in the 80's, Brainerd was a powerhouse in basketball with Coach High not so much in football or baseball although they had some talent in those sports too.
