TN vs Baylor (i.e. Griner)

They will do nothing I am guessing. If anything all this will do is make the Lady Vols look like sore losers

Shikena should be embarrassed for not ever making a Final Four unlike any other Lady Vols senior class. Instead she laughs. I hate this if indeed is Pat's last game.

THe officials of Women's basketball have always been bad. It's one of the reasons I can't even watch much women's BB. It's really an ugly game to watch vs. men's BB.

I've felt the officiating in men's basketball and football have been bad.

Has been the problem with this group of Seniors for 4 years now. Except for Glory Johnson, the others haven't seemed to be bothered by losing

You can blame this on officiating. They have let this go on an on. Griner coming off bench is a violation. It was officiating which was poor and they allow a physical game.

Ugly bs the entire game. We got beat but I hate it when officiating determines the impact of the game. Baylor beat us but It was a piss poor officiated game.

So, you're still of the opinion that poor officiating is OK? Just a question. I think everyone watching the game understands that we are shooting poorly and Baylor/Sims is shooting much better. I don't think that part is in question. I detest poor officiating in any sport. And, no, this has nothing to do with whether someone likes our fans or not. :hi:

The refs were no better or no worse than a 1000 games I have seen. Many tonite do not get that Baylor is a way better team than us. We play them 100 times they win 95. The refs did not cost us the game in any way at all and I get angry at any team's fan base that blames refs for their shortcomings.... the LV's are a often disjointed team, unable to consistently execute a game plan, prone to take terrible out of rhythm shots, emotionally a train wreck and struggle against talented teams.

Without a major overhaul, we will continue to be an Elite 8 caliber team.

Rule 10-5-2-g stipulates that leaving the bench area—even if the individual does not participate in the fight—shall result in automatic ejection.

I have never said that. I only continue to point out poor officiating. You accept it if you will, but I won't. It's been this way for several years with each year being worse than the one before.

Sorry you can not say that the refs cost us the game. The Lady Vols defense lost us that game along with poor shooting %. There is no reason they should of given Baylor so many open 3's.

Regardless of how much I've come to hate Baylor these last couple of years, you gotta like Kim Mulkey. She's a HELL of a coach, and from recent interviews I've seen, she's a hell of a person who really cares about the players and has true respect for the game. If I had a choice for the next coach of Tennessee, should we need one next year, I would hope it was her. While it's a pipe-dream because of what she has set up in Texas, I think we'd be in the hunt for the championship next year with her as coach.

Thanks to the seniors for everything they did, they sure as heck left it on the floor there at the end, can't picture what we're going to do without Strick or Glory next season.

GLV!

The best thing that can happen is that the seniors on this team have played their last game. Other than Glory J., I really don't think we had many Seniors that really had their "heart" into winning like previous Lady Vols have. THe first Senior class to never reach a Final FOur says it all...

Same here, I didn't see the situation. Turned the game off it was so ugly.

Unless my memory is wrong, isn't leaving the bench ejection in that game, and suspension for the next game?

I hope we get someone half as classy as Pat. Mulkey ain't it.

I'm 99 percent sure it is in WNBA and NBA, not sure about college... I remember Candace being involved in something like that last year I think.
