His special teamās talent is well worth the investment. I look forward to see what he can do at the SEC level.Bloom is also the first guy to make the NCAA back off if I remember correctly.
He had lots of money coming in from his skiing and the NCAA said he had to refuse the money if he wanted to play football at Colorado. He sued or at least threatened to and they eventually backed off.
Not sure if the others signed ANY kind of document, but I think I heard this guy was not going to do that till NSD in FEB. Dr. Punch on the radio the other day indicated he expected him to get other offers, but does not know what level might trigger a change of heart instead of the PWO deal here. Might well depend on the NIL deal we put on the table. All speculation outside the building.Whats weird is that none of the youtube guys (Hooker show, Locked on) mention Harmon as EITHER a walkon or a scholarship player. I havent heard a peep about this guy on their signing day broadcasts nor class reviews. I think the kid looks great and is gonna be returning either kicks punts or both for us...glad to have him for sure. Kids with 4.4 / 10.8 splits dont sit on the bench unless they're track guys just trying to be football players. This kid is a football player for sure. Dont know how many of yall ever played ball thru HS...but youve got to have brass balls to return kicks even at the HS level. Can't be scared to get hit, and get hit hard. Often.
* fwiw...those guys mentioned 3 walkons, but not Harmon. Not sure what the deal is with that. Mentioned Matthews, a LS, and a farragut/wofford LB...
Doesn't matter what level pee wee league to the pros, six scores returning kicks is awesomeHugely productive WR & kick returner over the past 2 years. Good speed with a 10.81 PR in the 100m. Caught 56 passes for 1,130 yards and 11 TDs last year; also returned 2 punts for TDs.
Through Catholic's first 9 games this season, Harmon had 49 receptions for 758 yards & 8 TDs while tallying 996 yards & 6 scores on kick (4 TDs) and punt returns (2 TDs).
Why would we offer outright if heās willing to take a PWO and we get him while saving a scholarship?Been looking at this kids tape over and over.
He makes plays against every team he played against.
Caught bombs against Baylor, Ensworth, McCallie. Low center of gravity with quick feet.
Breakaway speed. Great lateral movement.
Just offer him outright.
Couldn't care less if another P5 team offered or not

I don't consider it a moral issue not sure where that comes from. If a second or third customer steps up and offers full price I might need to reconsider my sale price offer, or buy something else. So? That doesnāt answer my question. Heās willing to come as a PWO. If you see an item you want on sale, do you offer to pay full price because itās worth that? Itās not a moral issue.
Without a complete fact set on the difference between full ride and NIL enhanced PWO deals, especially from taxes and additional out of pocket rather than supplied amenities I donāt know how to project a decision path for these guys willing to consider the alternate path if different level full rides come into play. So?
