Same for Calvin Johnson.

Metcalf only ran the 100 hurdles in HS.

Right, but shaving .3 off of your 40 time from high school to college is otherworldly. What DK did is way abnormal and shouldn't be the expectation.

I get the comp. I just don't know that we can expect that kind of jump in his speed. He will be fine even if he "just" gets to 4.5 at his size.

I don't know how I missed it, but he is the son of Damien Dodson who is a Memphis high school legend. I think he led the nation in receiving yards his senior year. He played at Memphis Westwood and his QB was Kenton Evans. Unbelievable combo. Had the opportunity to see them in person when they were knocked out of the playoffs by my 2 younger brothers at Beech High School.

I’m not sure how I missed this either. Growing up in Shelby County, Damien Dodson was well known.
