wow just wow!! with any kind of decent defense we are a top 10 team this year...

Bray is easily the best QB we have had since Martin and manning...clearly he and the team threw in the towel against Vandy but do you really blame them???? would Ainge and Clausen had done any better with this attrocity of a defense?

Do you think any other QB in our history would do well when you have to score 50 + points EVERY game to win??? it's impossible for anyone...did you see how Mcarron looked mortal and struggled after Bama went down a few scores against Texas A&M...when your defens is playing poorly it puts all kinds of pressure on the QB and offense and mistakes begin to happen..

Derick Dooley is the worst football coach UT has ever had in my honest opinion and it's clear that none of the players want to play for him...no leadership and constantly throwing players under the buss for his coaching woes yet Bray our most talented and exciting QB in a very long time gets all the heat...you are all morons who bash Bray seriously...with a good coach and defense he is easily a heisman frontrunner....QB was not our problem this year it was all on Dooley's gameday decisions lack of preparatin and no defense....the worst defense in the history of Tennessee footbasll.....even if we had the current NFL version of Peyton manning we would still be a losing team with this attrocity of a defense...

Fine...

Oh look another one of these threads.

We need about 100 more of these threads...Bray gave his all for UT and is the most talented QB we have had since Manning and yet he has been treated like garbage...if i were him i say F%^% all of you i'm leaving...seriously we have the biggest morons on the planet posting this stuff for the players to read...the only people that need to be bashed are the ones making the big bucks Dooley and the staff....you think someone like Petrino or Saban would be losing with out current roster?????

So what you are saying is that it's ok to throw in the towel. That is, it's ok to quit if things aren't going as you want them to go. No way

You are missing the point!!! They quit because of the coaching staff.

Have you EVER seen any of Saban's players quit on him????? Dooley makes players want to quit...this is a fact.

I'm not missing the point. Under your scenario, they quit. As you see it, that's ok. I don't see that quitting is ok, regardless of the reason.

Really? He makes them quit? Come on put down the crack pipe. He is not the best coach but he didn't cause Bray to be an immature prick

Cut could have made Bray a really good QB, with that being said there is a reason he is the HC at Duke and not at a top tier team.

Bray played well enough to beat some of the best teams inb this conference...you are a ****ing moron and everyone else like you who bashes him ....and you all forgot the Crompton, Rick Clasen and Siims years when 3 and out on the offense was the norm...only they had competetnt defenses at least if not we would have losing games 50-60 soething to nothing back then

So the players have no accountability at all?

In your job, if you don't think your boss is doing a good job, is it ok for you to quit trying to do good work?

Bray is not even better than Casey Clausen, so don't compare him to Manning and Martin. Clausen didn't have the physical tools that Bray has but he had great leadership skills and knew how to win, especially on the road.

So if a guy is good, it's ok for him to give up on the team? Man, I am glad I don't work with you.

To answer you question, yes I do blame him. Competitive sports is not a out giving up. That's opposite of what its about. That's a character issue.

Don't get me wrong, I like Bray but being a leader is about going the extra mile. Believing when others don't. Convincing the men around you that your still in the game. You may not win them all but you play.like you intend to for 60 minutes.

I'm not bashing Bray. I'm just pointing out that you say they quit and that's ok with you. Is it really ok to quit tryng if you don't think your boss is doing a good job?

there is no talking to idiots like you...Dooley was the first to give up on this team a while ago...how do you think this affects the players??? they were only playing for each other this year and all finally had had enough after so many crucial close losses due to coaching follies and a non existent defense....point is the problem is the coaching not the players,,,if you give Any GOOD COACH THIS CURRENT CROP OF PLAYERS WE ARE A TOP 10 TEAMS...but keep blmaing the players you narrow minded idiot

Look, I disagree with you but you don't need to be calling posters names. If you don't like my position, why don't you just quit? That seems to be the right thing to do in your world.
