Again, can't fathom why any vols fan would want Alabama to win a national title. Yes, they would probably beat Boise. But who wants that?

Because even for as much as I hate Alabama, it would be a shame for a team that is truly the best in the nation not win the championship simply because the BCS chooses to throw some pretender a bone because they win their first and only true game of the year and 10 more glorified scrimmages.

True, but last years certainly was. That's a different matter altogether anyhow. UT does the same thing, we just haven't done it as many times as Bama. Boise St. could proabably claim a NC if they wanted to, because I'm sure some crazy poll out there had them as number 1 sometime in the past few years.

The guy actually had the nerve to say that Boise would stomp Alabama.

Boise couldn't stomp Va Tech, which is certainly not on Bama's level.
