Same with you and your little smilies, how does a mediocre conference-don't even use the WAC or Sun Belt, say ACC, help any of the programs in it? You cakewalk your way to the national title game or worse get locked out of it because of schedule strength like Boise over the years?

Like it has any effect on the game, but if you want an excuse to root for Alabama, just go root for them.

If Alabama wins a national title, you know who it helps? Alabama. If Georgia wins a national title, it helps Georgia. It doesn't help us at all. All it does is make the gap wider between us and teams we directly recruit against.

Still waiting for one of you to explain how the conference losing its out of league games, having nobody in the title game, helps Tennessee. By your logic Tennessee should try and move to the Big East to replace Rutgers. Maybe one of you can give another cute little picture or smiley. I didn't say I like any of the other programs and hoping they win isn't the same as cheering for them.

Because 7 of the top 10 teams being from the SEC is really helping out Tennessee right now. How about we win some games and quit riding the coat tails of other teams. Screw the rest of the SEC.

It would have been a joke if KSU played Oregon for the NC. Neither of these teams could have beat any of the top 5 SEC teams.

The strength of conference concept is moronic? Ask Boise, all it did was keep them out of national title games despite perfect regular seasons.

Should we join the Big East? In most years we'd be hell on wheels against Cincy and Louisville. Louisville wouldn't have made it to the national title game this year even if they'd gone undefeated. By your reasoning they should have been okay with that since we all need to hope everyone else in a league is bad.

I want Tennessee to be the best team in the best league. Is that such a hard concept to grasp? Do you want Tennessee to be the best team in a group that struggles to have another top 25 team? Florida State can manage that somewhat because of their reputation. Most teams can't.
