i think i gave you a pretty quick "how to" so you dont' have to go thru any of that.
but to your point, why should i or anyone else here, take our time to recap every thread for htose of you that can't/don't wan't to?
is your time that much more valuable than mine or anyone else's?
the folks that create those threads, do so for the ease of the readers. there's zero reason they should be asked to "recap them" for you cause you dn't have time, but they should do it again?
ok, i'm a dick. i can live with that.
agreedPosts like this do nothing but waste bandwith. If you don't want to contribute, don't post.
Personally, I think it would be great closer to signing day to list the uncommitted targets who are considering the Vols. There are literally dozens of recruits we're interested in or vice versa and each one haa their own thread.
As for why should anyone take their time to do it? I don't know. Why does anyone take the time to type long drawn out post on a football forum?

Here's my thoughts.....
1.OL commit list looks very solid. If we get Wright (which many think we lead for), then it is perhaps the best in the country or one of the best. Filled a big need position. Have 2 good TE prospects committed also.
2. RB list will be fine considering what we have returning. All signs point to Gray signing with us and he will be a very good back. Not the big bruiser type that CJP usually wants. Cain from IMG coming in this week is a good back but realistically a long shot.
3. DL is where I think our class is the weakest given our graduating class. Bringing in a couple of JUCO guys that look pretty good and should help immediately but the lack of younger players concern me. Cox by his own admission is looking like he will stick to his commitment and honestly he looks better than I thought.
4. LB class at this point is also weak. The Pappoe news is disappointing, but if we get Russell and Brown they look like good athletes players that are mostly unheralded. Lakia Henry is a JuCo player that hopefully sticks. Marshall, Henry To, and Crouch have the star rating behind them but look to be long shots.
5. DB recruiting looks pretty darn good to me. Harris, Tank, Beasley, Burrell, and Fields look like players. Beasley and Harris may make their way to offensive side of the ball at RB and Wr depending on needs. Harris is a playmaker.
6. QB and WR with Maurer and Keyton, while low numbers here both guys have potential to be game changers for us (Keyton especially next year). We are still swinging for a couple more WRs that seem to be longer shots but possible.
I'm no expert, and I probably left a bunch out but this is the best I could come up with off the top of my head. To the posters above that some may think came off as rude I think their advice is sound. Find the recruit that has commit by their name and click the first page of the thread. Good quick info there.
Edit: forgot Roman Harrison. Not sure if he will stand up outside or have his hand in the dirt, but he may be commit that I'm most excited about. Kid is a ball player. Played out of position in HS, but just balls out regardless.
There will inevitably be a reaction thread where people will cheer and vent.I don’t see a problem with the proverbial “big fish” thread just prior to the early signing period. It’s somewhat of a yearly tradition on VN. Too bad the thread got hijacked by hall monitors and keyboard cowboys. It would have been nice to see a quick and dirty run down of where we stand with some of our top prospects.
Surely not the process again lolPruitt has very specific criteria. It's really fascinating. All of the players we recruit are 6'8", 280lbs and run 4.44 forties. Each one benches 425 lbs, and can throw the football over that mountain. They are all recruited as Athletes, and then Pruitt decides what position to place them at alphabetically, using their middle names.
I know it's strange, but it clearly worked at Alabama, so you just gotta trust the process.
or, you could just take it at face value. i know how it was going to sound, hence my preface to the statement.
i realize not everone comes in to the RF and may not keep up like some of us do.
so, not to be a dick, but instead of someone taking their time out to give you a recap of all that information you want, here's how the threads work so you can peruse and find info yourself, easier than you may have thought previously.
if that makes me condescending or a dick, i'm ok with that.
