I agree a different agency should be investigating like they do in Tennessee but reading these accounts only one shooting was even remotely questionable according to the facts. The Grand juries found no criminal or civil actions for legit reasons. After 4 Killings, 'Officer of the Year' Is Still on the Job
Shouldn’t be investigating themselves
Yes, I did not mean to imply that all incidents are questionable.I agree a different agency should be investigating like they do in Tennessee but reading these accounts only one shooting was even remotely questionable according to the facts. The Grand juries found no criminal or civil actions for legit reasons.
The cop was being respectful and explained the issue and even told him he was just getting a warning. The guy tried to flee because he knew he had two warrants lolYeah, the guy didn't want to hear that cops mouth and decided to leave. Then the cop got all pissy and decided to put the guy on the ground for disrespecting the shield.
Cases like this just make you shake your head and wonder how some people are allowed to be cops and prosecutors. There is no reason under the sun that the police dept, the investigating officer and the prosecutor shouldn't be civilly liable for torturing this man.
Man stopped wife from driving drunk, charged when she died walking home
In an unusual turn, local police opted to charge Todd with manslaughter for the death of Anderson, 35. His alleged crime? Throwing his wife’s keys across the road, sending her on a precarious, deadly search. Todd repeatedly denied throwing his wife’s keys. There was no evidence that he did, a court later ruled.
Lol so the only rationale for not letting people who are falling down drunk not to drive is because they might get stopped by the police? Not the fact that they may kill themselves or someone elseHe thought his wife was about to and knew you were sitting around the corner waiting for her to not use her blinker. Who can blame him?
