Cop-hating Florida woman called precincts 11,000 times to berate officers

A cop-hating Florida woman was arrested this week after calling police precincts a staggering 11,000 times this year to blast and berate officers, according to a report.

Carla Jefferson, 50, relentlessly dials the non-emergency lines of the St. Petersburg Police Department and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and “harasses, belittles, swears at, argues with” whoever picks up, according to a criminal complaint obtained by the Smoking Gun.

Jefferson somehow managed to place 512 calls to the St. Petersburg department over a single 24-hour period last month, the complaint alleges.

Her annual tally works out to about 30 calls to the departments each day.

Jefferson’s ringtone rampage accounted for 10% of all phone traffic to the St. Petersburg department’s non-emergency line for the year, cops said.

Someone needs to do a Crocodile Dundee check on this "woman", either that or she needs a new razor.

On Wednesday Richmond, Indiana Police Officer Seara Burton responded to a call from other officers to assist with a traffic stop in the area of North 12th and 'C' Street. Officer Burton located the vehicle, which was a moped being ridden by an adult male, and made a traffic stop at that location.
During the traffic stop, Officer Burton's K9 partner Brev was used to conduct an open-air sniff around the moped and indicated the possible presence of narcotics. While officers were speaking with the suspect he pulled out a firearm and shot several rounds toward them. Officer Burton was struck in the head by the gunfire .
Other officers on the scene returned fire. The suspect was hit, but managed to flee on foot. After a very brief foot chase, was apprehended. He was treated for gunshot wounds by the officers on scene and later transported by ambulance to Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
28-year year old, Officer Burton was transported by ambulance to Reid and later airlifted to a hospital in Dayton, Ohio where she continues to be listed in very critical condition.
She has served with the Richmond Police Department for four years.
She was planning on getting married today. Instead, she remains in critical condition in a hospital room 40 miles away.
The population of the City was quick to respond. It is refreshing in this day and age to see a community brought together in support and prayer for an injured law enforcement officer. In just Three days a massive prayer gathering was organized and several local businesses have started collecting donations. Another has printed off yard signs and banners which are being given out free to the public and are being displayed all over the City.
Our prayers to Officer Seara Burton, and sincere thanks to the members of the community of Richmond, Indiana for their support of their injured Officer. It is such a blessing to have a community that backs their law enforcement officers in this day and age.

Heartwarming moment Tennessee cops line up for four-year-old girl's first day of school after her dad died in a medical emergency in the line of duty

This is the heartwarming moment a Tennessee police force lined up for a four-year-old's first day of school after her father died in the line of duty nine months ago.

Anna, of Smyrna, is the daughter of Lt. Kevin Stolinsky, a 20-year veteran detective with the La Vergne Police Department.

He died in November 2021 after suffering a 'medical emergency' on patrol, according to local news outlets.

On August 8, Anna started school at Lancaster Christian Academy in Smyrna, and to pay tribute to her father and to show their support to their former colleague's family, officers escorted Anna and her mother to the school in motorcycles.

They were then greeted by two lines of officers from several local law enforcement agencies as Anna made her way to the school's front entrance.

First thoughts on this …. 1) if you punch a cop in the head, there is a very high probability that an ass whipping is coming your way from the cop and his back up… that’s just common sense…..2) if you’re a cop and you’re administering an ass whipping, there is a very high probability that someone is capturing it on video…. This is also common sense.

If you have mental health issues and don’t comply you will get your ass beat. That’s what this picture is shaping up to look like from witnesses.

Because cops are trash?

If you're in HS and somebody swings on a jock and then 2 of his buddies hold him down while the jock smashes the guy's face in...what do we all think of those 3 teenagers? Trash, right?

Don't swing on a cop. Don't swing on anybody. But the idea that this will likely lead to a brutal beating is not acceptable.

Update on the officer, she’s still in critical condition after neurosurgery and “showing glimmers of hope” according to her fiancé. That’s all that was said.

Well…. When you act a fool there are consequences. I’m not condoning … just saying

The consequences should be commensurate with the action. A swing at a cop in no way justifies getting his ass beaten. If the mental health issues are legit, it just further demonstrates cops have no idea how to de-escalate a situation. I’ll wait on Ricky to come tell me how I’m wrong and the dude deserved it,
