Without question Tennessee has the hardest rebuilding job as far as the new SEC coaches go.

The easiest? Tom says Kentucky.

I suppose this could be argued, but how exactly are Arkansas, Auburn, or UK, in a CLEARLY better position moving forward.

Not buying it grease ball.

All has to do with expectations…Sure anybody could go 6-6 at UK and that would be considered success…at UT, things are different…

That only makes sense if you are ranking them based on fan expectations, which are, in turn, predicated upon relative degrees of historical excellence. Did he state whether he expects every draft-eligible junior to go pro for us?

Could possibly be the 4 coaches in 5 years, or 2 5-7 seasons in a row, or the lack of quality depth at certain positions, or "THE BIG 3" possibly declaring, or how bad our defense was, or our upcoming schedule........

If we win, they will all shut-up, and I think we will. CBJ has an attitude and energy his predecessor only dreamed about.

Rebuilding is hard anytime, it's even harder when you have a minority (but very vocal) collection of "so called" fans criticizing your every move. Some people just need to get a damn life.

Lugenbill is an idiot. We may have a hard schedule, but we have a good roster returning, even with the losses on offense. Defense can be decent if we play a scheme around what our players are capable of doing.

I feel sorry for Mark Stoops and Malzahn, not sure about Bielema yet. Good coach, but Arky has to rebuild just as much as anyone else.

Takes longer and is much harder to rebuild the UT castle. By comparison, all Stoops has to do is re-pitch the tent. No homo.

I'd rather try to rebuild against the likes of Richt, Spurrier and Muschamp instead of Saban, Sumlin and Miles. Yes, we still have to play Bama every year but the West is a tougher division than the East right now. I wouldn't want to be Malzahn and having to compete in state with Saban every year.

Ky will not get the talent that UT does year in and year out. UT has an advantage in every facet of the programs. I don't see how he can say that Ky is in a better position. That's ludicrous.

Because the rivals. UT s rivals are competing for national titles year in and year out. And UT has been fighting to break .500 during the past 5 seasons. Arkansas is in the same division as Bama and LSU enough said there. (Same for Auburn). Kentuckys rivals haven't exactly been top tier lately.

Except for Oregon, we play those teams every year. There are no easy SEC schedules.

No but there are easier schedules. You think UT's record would have been better with Georgia's schedule? Dooley caught about as hard of gauntlet as you could. Granted, he lost his team late each year.

Timing. Suppose UT had gotten Auburn or Arkansas this year. Each team has ebbs and flows through the year, and sometimes you just get a little lucky when you catch them. For example, for whatever reason, UT under Fulmer was never as good against UF early.
The one year they play the game late in the year, UT wins on the road. I think as a 21 point underdog.
