Tom Luginbill on CFL just said...

Without question Tennessee has the hardest rebuilding job as far as the new SEC coaches go.

The easiest? Tom says Kentucky.

I suppose this could be argued, but how exactly are Arkansas, Auburn, or UK, in a CLEARLY better position moving forward.

Not buying it grease ball.

That makes no sence, or cents, or sents either....

I thought ESPN said a couple of weeks/months ago that Tennessee was the best job open this year...

Does any of these so called experts ever do any research before they say things?

If we're using the same definition of "rebuilding" for all the schools mentioned, then this guy is an idiot.

all but Kentucky have much much better talent already in place, I think this is what Tom Luginbill was refering to.....I can't disagree, we have a long way to go to be competitive, but it can be done over the next 3-4 years

Kentucky doesn't belong in the discussion. In order to rebuild something, you first have to build it.

They had a pretty decent run of making bowls a few years ago. Of course, the difficulty of rebuilding something depends entirely on what you have to rebuild. Rebuilding UK is comparable to making a tower out of legos. It will be much harder to get UT back to where we all want it to be.

I'm guessing you haven't seen our schedule next year.. Or the fan base you must please here

You act as if people expect 10 wins next year.

Nobody does.

We just expect to be able to beat UK/Vandy both in the same year and not get embarrassed on national TV in our 5 big games (Oregon, UF, UGA, USC, Bama).

Why do people think Dooley being run out after 3 years means UT has an oppressively demanding fanbase?

That doesn't even make sense...unless I'm misunderstanding what he's saying. Tn will be on top before Ky...since Ky won't EVER be there!

Lugindouche must not have watched the Barn play this season. They got blown out every damn week. At least we were in a position to win most of our games. There isn't a depleted roster like in 2010!

Not so sure I agree with that. If we have a competent staff last season, Tennessee is easily 7-5 or 8-4. We didnt though. I think where Dooley is really being exposed now is in the recruiting area. Fairly obvious this staff didnt work very hard in establishing/building relationships with kids. CBJ has an uphill battle to salvage a decent recruiting class.

I think butch has alot more talent than dooley did going into his first season. People forget that the defense with wilcox was a pretty solid unit. I think with the right coaching our D will be improved drastically! Now depending on who stays and who goes our O could be deadly or "rebuilt" as you say. But the team doesnt need to be rebuilt near as much as the name "tennessee" does imo

He said that with the discipline program that we were likely to lose players. Sounds like we may be back to where we were when CDD took over.

UGA begs to differ the last couple of years.

We play Alabama, Florida, South Carolina and Georgia every year. Nothing anyone can do to change that.

I realize Georgia had a lucky draw the last two years. Likewise, we get Auburn next year. It's all cyclical.

Yes. So lets not act like every SEC schedule is the same.
