Thigpen recruited Marvin Austin (5*), Quan Sturdivant and Zach Brown (4*) to UNC in the span of 2 years.

All in all, in the last 3 years, he's gotten commits from 8 3*, 7 4* and 1 5* to Auburn.

Word is that Urban Meyer is after Thig. No link for the proof Nazis, but I'm sure it will be out soon.

Haven't seen his name mentioned much at all. He's never been a defensive coordinator has he? The articles I've seen up here are mentioning all current Defensive Coordinators at other schools as potential replacements for Withers. I dont see him making a lateral move to OSU or anywhere else.

Let Coach Thigpen go up there, interview, decline, and talk Vonn Bell to transfer to Tennessee. Just to piss off Urbie.

Not that I'm aware of. I know urbie tried to steal him from auburn when he was at florida in 09. I don't see a lateral move either, but I can see meyer trying to make him a co-d coord or something like that.

You're hearing what I heard too. I'm hearing Fickell will go elsewhere, Vrabel will follow him and Meyer will attempt to grab Thigpen. I really hope we can keep him.

Thig isn't going anywhere. After the body of work done so far in recruiting, there would be a riot ensue if we let him go for any reason. Not kidding, Hart's office would be destroyed and he may be maimed if not killed. PAY THE MAN!

Thigs salary is $345,000, if it takes $450,000 and an assistant head coach title to keep the man, then it better be done.
