Tommy Thigpen

Thig needs a 100k raise just for being the guy most responsible getting Josh Malone alone.

He was also on Urban Meyer's staff at Bowling Green. From all indications, Butch Jones and Urban Meyer are close friends, so this is probably the connection to Thigpen. A really, really good pickup if true.

But, but why wouldn't it be true. It's been said here. :p

If someone can't show you proof of rumor it's likely bs. Osu doesn't have an opening for linebacker. OSU looking for. DC or Co DC with secondary experience. I would be suprised if Teryl Austin isn't the next DC at OSU

That"s serious talk over a football coach. Threatening someone's life?? That's Crazy

Haven't you been around the FF long enough to know that some people here are freakin' nuts? I'll only argue with someone in the Recruiting Forum, and even that sparingly. People in this forum scare me.

Thig isn't going anywhere. After the body of work done so far in recruiting, there would be a riot ensue if we let him go for any reason. Not kidding, Hart's office would be destroyed and he may be maimed if not killed. PAY THE MAN!

Sure. And people said nothing to see here regarding the Lambert/Auburn thing. Fact is that OSU is a big step up. So, there is a little more to it than 'letting' him go.

After Thig does his thing for a couple of years here, OSU WON'T be a big step up. OSU couldn't compete in the SEC IMO. They would be like we were this year if they played our schedule. Maybe a little better, but not much. I wasn't impressed with OSU at all. Not arguing, just my opinion.

Your opinion just isn't rooted in the facts. Yes, they would be competitive in this league. Trying to pretend there is nothing here is wishful orange thinking.

If your from ohio OSU is a step up, but otherwise I don't see OSU as superior to UT. In fact we have beat OSU when we play them.

a southern guy would rather be at UT; especially when we are returning to winning ways; instead of hanging with a bunch of IFOs (idiots from Ohio)

My opinion is no more devoid of facts than yours. That's what makes it my opinion. If you want to be an OSU fan, go right ahead. I bleed Orange. Thanks for the back-up Chewie!
