Good mature point. I actually, stupidly, wasn't a harsh critic of DD til about midway through last year... just kept holding out hope I guess.

Anywho, the only time I ever feel the need to rehash and take a run again at DD is in response to a couple of delusional, IMHO, posters on here who miscast the state of our program, in particular recruiting, while trying to take shots at Butch. Otherwise, I'm more than ready to let the whole Dooley fade away.

I'll admit......I was a Dooley supporter till after the Mizoo game.

I still think Dooley would still be our head coach if not for Sal.

But Dooley's fault for agreeing to let Sal be a DC.

Dooley drug our program through the mud for 3 years. We get at least 1 year to return the favor. If it was as simple as he failed to win I would be all for just forgetting about him but he did more than lose football games. His treatment of former players hurt out relationship with alumni, his treatment of instate talent and coaches cost us a number of players this recruiting class alone. Butch is trying to fix these problems but it may take more than 1 season to refill the hole Dooley dug us in.

I'm no middle schooler by any stretch but I would pay to have the opportunity to read every post I have made here about Dooley to his face. I'm betting he could make quite a bit of money if he did a tour of the state and charged fans to come and tell him exactly what they think of him. It's cute that you think people would be intimidated by Dooley. Lol
