My guess is Holly and Evina are both leaving. I believe Evina will be leaving whether Holly stays or goes. I hate that. Don't see how Evina can stay after her mother's Facebook post; and all the criticism she is getting for her, I thought, very restrained comment immediately post loss.

I think Holly is out. I think a new head coach will be announced after the tournament is over.

I'm not an insider. But I think this is what is going to happen.

Yes I'm exactly saying its the coach's job to teach whatever the hell the players she picks for her team need to learn in order to become successful SEC basketball players. Her job is to pick up and advance any and every dropped ball. This, to my understanding, is the way successful coaches build winning teams.

Never heard of a successful coach who said "Hey, not my job to teach piddly basic skills I didn't notice you lacked when I asked you to play for me." But maybe that is Holly's approach and it would explain the unusually large number of highly rated recruits who mysteriously fail to develop under her coaching.

If this were the case, then she should have never recruited them. So either way she dropped the ball. It is either her job to coach/teach them, or it is her job to recognize they lack those basic skills she doesn't have time/ability to teach.

Oh I agree! She and her staff obviously did not evaluate completely! They just saw run fast jump high so please sign the dotted line! Sadly 5’8 kids with avg athleticism but great handles and great shot and great b-ball IQ are not considered lady vol material!

If Fulmer doesn't fire Holly, then he doesn't have the clear judgement an AD should have. Holly is a poor coach and everybody knows it except 5% who if the LV's lost 25 games for 5 years in a row would still say it isn't Holly's fault.

This part I do agree with. Since most coaches think they are geniuses, they often believe if they can just get raw athletic material they can create a great player. Unfortunately, CHW has turned out to be several bricks shy of a coaching genius load and so should have switched several years ago to the more finely tuned recruit with developed bball skills ans IQ.

Also, the rawly athletic fits Holly stuck in the 80s old-fashioned philosphy of points off pressure D, rebounds and putbacks.

All a big part of her downfall.

And we have lost several games lately to that exact player. In this day and time a great 3 pointer shooter is worth more than those great athletes. A three pointer beats a wide open layup any day. Especially when the wide open layups are not being made.

Its much more than recruiting services, it's watching and evaluating these players in person.
Holly's big plus to her loyal followers is her recruiting classes. Problem is she loses control of these recruits on and off the floor. She's the one who heads up this team and program, she should be held accountable for all aspects.

Dooley was one year too late, he should have been fired after losing to KY.
Butch should have been fired a year earlier when the team imploded. He was never gonna put the pieces back together again.

You had to give Holly one more year after securing the number one class. Basically give her the rope to hang herself. She obliged. Now is the time. Do it coach Fulmer.

Why does UT have trouble firing/hiring coaches? It wasn't hard for Vandy, Alabama, and Texas A&M to fire their men's basketball coaches in a quick manner.

Westbrook is likely gone regardless. Her family’s issues with Tennessee are much deeper than the coaching staff. They’ve found fault with everyone from the Chancelor to the janitor.

I was very surprised that she did not move on after last season and even more surprised when she didn’t follow Hayes when that situation unfolded.

Holly is far from blameless in the situation, but getting rid of all the unhappy people sometimes goes both ways.
