Tony vs. Kurt

Did Tony start all of it on the track.

He tried to squeeze between Busch and the wall and tapped Busch's rear corner turning him into the wall. A questionable move for a practice session. Stewart then was hit by his teamate Hamlin, which kept him from spinning out. It looked like the #20 wasn't too badly hurt until Busch started banging into it coming off the track into pit entrance.

Carl is not that scary

He is the biggest boy out there strength wise. He is probably athletic too since he does back flips off his car so I can't think of another driver that could take him in a fist fight. Maybe Bobby Labonte, he has that don't screw with me look.

I heard on the radio few minutes ago they both could get fines and points taken away>>>>unreal the freken season hasnt even started yet.

You would think they both would have learned their lesson by now.

Well at least they keep it interesting, but I think they should settle things in the pits, not on the track where uninvolved drivers can be come involved.

I have heard that Carl is actually a jerk when the cameras are off. He might be going through roid rage like we seen last season when he faked a punch towards Kenseth. I stil think he would beat the hell out of beer gut Stewart.

I can see a fine, but I think points are unfair to the rest of the team/owner for a driver's personal behavior. Points should only be taken for rules infractions. If an incident is serious enough or a second offense, then suspension is available.

I missed all the action, but couldn't believe all that happened in a practice session when I saw it on ESPN this morning. I was shocked. Great posts you guys.I sure hope there are no driver points taken away, but I would think Nascar has to take serious action for what happened in the pits.

Yep, thats the one and Im sure he was penalized for that. You would think Kurt learned his lesson after last year. Im shocked he didnt! You were just trying to make it seem like this whole thing yesterday was all Smoke and Kurt was innocent.

You would think he would have learned after what happened at Phoenix. He made himself look to be a complete idiot. It's a good thing he didn't drive in the 70's or 80's

It seems that Stewart did hit Busch in the NASCAR trailer, but apparently they are'nt doing much about it so far. Give the drivers credit for not carrying it on the track tonight. Don't think they had much opportunity to do much though.

Sounds like just a clash of two egos. I'm no fan of either one of them, but it seems like they better stop before some poor pit crew member gets the brunt of it.

i think the whole punch thing is made up.

Kurt showed no signs of being punched. Tony may have swung on him and missed, and the story escalated into Tony hit him as it went from person to person.

You might be right, Nascar seems to thrive off that stuff. They won't admit it but everyone knows a punch thrown is good for ratings.
