Making it into the top 10 will be very important for our program. We will not be as far behind in the recruiting race if we address our major weaknesses. I think we will...O line, D line, QB, WR. Boy and girls we are looking good.

He said it was cause a teammate (Worle?) has been an LSU commit for a while and keeps tellin him to come check em out.

But its gonna be rainy this weekend here in Baton Rouge and I hope he sees drunken LSU frat boys at their worst.

Except its not that exact a science. Fifth might really be third, and that's just for this one class at that. Sure we'd rather be ahead of Bama and FL than behind them, but CDD not doing too badly for damage-control mode when he is given a 2-week recruiting season.

I'll put this in terms anyone can understand. The difference between the 2nd spot on rivals and the 10th spot on rivals really isnt that big. Look at the numbers. We pick up one more 4 star player and we jump to 7th. Florida is way ahead, that is true. But the difference after that isnt that much from 2-10.

Rivals has us ranked in the #10 spot right now. Scout has us ranked #21.

I figure we are probably somewhere in the middle, but darn, that's a pretty big disparity between the two.

Two wildly different methods of evaluating talent. They agree on the rankings of the first five or so, why such a big gap concerning TN?

I could get a grasp on two or three spots, but eleven.

Man, it sure feels great to have picked up 6 commitments in the 13 days that Coach Dooley and staff have been on the job..........:rock:

It also feels great to know that we are now ranked ahead of USC, who is now #8........I know we have a long ways to go before NSD in terms of work for the staff, but I believe that we will finish strong and realistically get most of what we need.......

As of 9:00pm CST on Thursday night, UT is currently
7th on rivals team rankings...

Do not tell cascade11 because he thinks the stars and rankings mean nothing, and will slam u unmercifully u if you disagree with him...

I on the otherhand don't care if you like the ranking system or not. I get mad and slam no one... :good!::) Go CDD and GBO

Regardless, if we have more commits or not. That is too sweet! Might not stay that way, but looks good now.
