1. Short Frontline - with both Stokes and Mayman playing at once, we are short and not a threat to block many shots.

2. Mayman missing too many layups and short shots - this really hurts

3. Poor free throw shooting - turns up in many games

4. Too many turnovers - partly scheme, but mostly we are lacking 1-2 quick guards with a great handle.... This is a big problem

5. Not getting many steals - not enough pressing or up tempo.... We're not getting enough easy baskets to help us out.

6. Defense is weak - especially closing out on 3's... We're not great in the paint bc were short down low....Surprisingly, this team appears lazy at times on defense.... The stats don't lie....

7. 3 point shooting - in many games is terrible..... This really makes it tough for us to come back when we are down.

8. This team has adopted a losing mentality... They find ways to lose close games instead of finding ways to win them.

9. Referees - we get bad calls all the time, bc our coach is not working the refs.

10. Coaching - it's substandard if you want to make the NCAA... Next year our bball team will be horrendous.... If CCM makes it to next year, then that will very likely be it for him... I would be shocked if we're not much worse next season.....

All in all, with all the problems of this team, there are many positives too ... However, we need to get on a big winning streak before the NCAA is just out of the question.....

#11. Someone please explain CCM's substitution pattern? Some players don't play for 5 or 6 games and then play 10-12 minutes , hello Armani Moore. Some play 5-6 games in a row and then don't play at all, hello DeMontre Edwards. Must be frustrating playing for this staff

Just amazes me that people are content with being average. It doesn't have to be Bruce, just someone besides the NIT coach we have now.

11. Not having a serviceable PG is also hurting this team, Barton is not a PG and the more i watch Thompson the more i'm convinced he's also not a PG.

12. UT needs a shot blocker to patrol the paint and deter opponent from attempting easy layups.

Nobody is content with being average; well I supposed there may be a very slight few that just really like Martin but they'd be the extreme minority.

But just because someone isn't happy with Martin doesn't mean we think Bruce Pearl is the only coach we can go hire. There are way too many people posting here who's only reply is "BRING BACK BRUCE".

EXACTLY. I don't understand CCM's ideas behind his rotation. Same with Armani Moore, today was the first time I have seen him play in a while.

Pearl worshippers are worse than the Bear worshippers at Alabama. At least Bryant's accomplishments were worthy of it.

Not saying i'm a Pearl worshipper but his accomplishments are worthy. Like Bear made history at Bama, Pearl made history at UT.

Rotation should have been settled in pre-conference play. This is one of CCM's weaknesses as a coach. Bench players must be very frustrated and thus no production. Moore sits for weeks then is put in a must win game. He played well for the most part, but his defense was a liability in the second half. He was lost and gave up a critical three late in the game.

I don't have an argument with that. Just because I don't think Bruce coming back would be best for the program doesn't mean I somehow think Martin is doing a good job. He is mediocre on a good day and this team turns the switch on and off randomly.
