Corey Fisher is one of the better guards in the country even though he had fits with UT's defensive pressure. Nolan Smith from Duke is also one of the most efficient guards in my opinion.

Harris and Hopson have the potential to take us a long way IMO. They have performed just how we need them to this season so far, and can only improve from here.

I love Scotty, but I can't see rating him higher than Kalin Lucas, Nolan Smith, Isaiah Thomas and a few more that come to mind that didn't even make your list.

Jimmer Fredette probably wins NPOTY unless Kemba Walker keeps up his level of play
all season.

Also, Marcus Morris is overrated IMO

I'll put a little more work into this. Morris could be a little lower but the guy is almost averaging 15/10 against some decent competition. Thanks for the input, and yeah I did miss Nolan Smith. Not sold on Thomas though.

I don't see Fredette winning NPOTY. Guy is a great player at the collegiate level, but I think you'll see someone like Walker or Irving be more serious threats. It is still very early, more people will emerge.

Seems that the talent this year is down from years past. Kyrie Irving is a baller but imo I dont think he's the best player in the country. And I dont think he would be the no. 1 pick in the nba draft. Also, I think trey thompkins is top 10 good but I guess he doesnt get that kinda respect cuz his team isnt all that great.

Would yall agree on Hopson being a top 25 player this year? This is a year where we lack a true 'star', and their are a lot of 'good' players. I see Hopson in this "upper level" in college basketball.

Thompkins will be higher as the season goes on however, all of his major categories are down from last year(it's early however).

I don't think that Scotty Hopson is one of the best in college basketball right now. He's doing very well for us this year, but it's not like he's absolutely dominating.

Would put Tobias Harris ahead of him, if it was me.

I just don't see who exactly is better than him at the 2 guard spot? He played very good D against Villanova, holding Fisher in check and he added 18 pts. I only see a good 15-20 people being "better" than him. And yeah, you could argue Harris > Hopson

Haha, yeah. But he is a very good player regardless of his team. He might be a little overrated on the list, he is a top 25 player though if you ask me.

He's a good scorer. I disagree with some selections, but I appreciate your time at putting together this list. For the most part, it looks good.

Thanks man, yeah I left a few off that deserved. Nolan is one, I should have added him and will do so next week(I'll just keep updating). Input always helps!

What criteria are you specifically using? Best players this season? Best players throughout college career? NBA potential?

Either way, keep it up. I enjoy seeing people have different opinions on players and their abilities.

A mix of NBA potential and current season play to this point. List can and will change over the weeks. College career has a slight factor, but nothing too crucial in this list.

Kenneth Faried is a manchild. I hate seeing him twice a year. He doesn't get a lot of recognition because he plays in the OVC.
