Hey now, Duke fans would agree. In fact, some of them think Nolan Smith is the POTY.

I'm a Duke fan and think Singler sucks. I absolutely think Smith should be in the discussion.

This, with Kanter in that list as well. Both will jump into top 10 once cleared and ready to go. Of course, that is assuming Kanter will eventually be cleared.

Kanter is not going to be cleared. The NCAA and their new Washignton President have made sure of that. One thing is for certain; someone needs to bring the hammer to the NCAA when it comes to things like Kanter not clearing. Kid did NOTHING wrong.

The funny thing is most the Duke fans I know say he shouldn't be Poy.
Posted via VolNation Mobile

He shouldn't. He doesn't have the ability to completely take over a game like Fredette does and his supporting cast is quite a bit better than Fredette's.

I'll put a little more work into this. Morris could be a little lower but the guy is almost averaging 15/10 against some decent competition. Thanks for the input, and yeah I did miss Nolan Smith. Not sold on Thomas though.

Marcus Morris = 17 and 7 shooting 60%

Markieff Morris = 13 and 8 at 60%

I would literally kill to have them on our team.

I went to BYU. I enjoy watching Fredette more than you can imagine. If I had my first choice of players I'd probably take Sullinger. Fredette probably wins POY. He's got a great resume.

Why? He carries an otherwise sorry team and has made them relevant. He's scores, passes and dominates the offensive end. Not sure what else he can do.

to be honest, i havent watched much of him, so this is may be way off. but i feel like BYU plays a joke schedule. and if their schedule isnt very good, i question the talent of the players defending Fredette. I feel like eventually he will get covered by a long, quick guard that is more athletic than he is, and shut him down. No one in the nation can stop Sullinger.... i feel like Fredette can be stopped. does that make sense?

He's a tough cover. He can only play those put in front of him and he does it well. Guys guarding him today were longer and more athletic, but he still scored and had 9 assists.

Thanks for the education. Couldn't have found that out by watching the game today.

Anybody can be stopped. SDSU used their whole team to stop him (they are probably the most athletic team in the country) and he dropped 25 and 9. He didn't shoot terribly well, but the attention he got left everyone else open and they hit their open shots and beat the #4 team on the road.

BYU was #3 in RPI before beating SDSU so they've played a solid schedule. Also his biggest games have come against the best opposition. The last 2 years he went 25+ vs:

2010
UCLA
S Florida
Utah State
Arizona
UNLV (39)
SDSU (43)
New Mexico
CSU (42)
UNLV

SDSU

2009

Hey Skippy, did you notice his comments, before and after mine. Maybe context would help you avoid looking more like a bonehead. It's help you can use.
