Ponder
Newton imo are the only decent ones in here. Locker just doesn't feel right to me. But this class is weak. None of these QB's I feel have good odds to become something special. They could but I have doubts.

Does anyone know what drugs Mallett has been accused of doing? Jw?

I'm curious of the Gabbert love, especially from message boarders who probably didn't watch him play.

You realize 100% of his college snaps came from the shotgun, right? Not a single snap under center. And he didn't really light it up in the spread, either. Solid college QB - if it translates to NFL success, I'll be a little surprised.

Mallett is an idiot, yes. So was Dan Marino. I have them in the same mold.

we've seen lights out QBs from the spread like cam newton so many times, and every time people wanna say "oh well he's just to good to not step up his game, he'll put in hard work and perform well" and every single time they've been a bust. there's not a single quarterback in this years draft that would be able to be a franchise quarterback or an elite NFL quarterback

Not a fan of Gabbert. I like what I see from Mallett. Newton is a wild card. We can say all day that guys like him haven't worked out in the past, but IMO we've never really seen anybody like him. The closest thing is VY and you can't say Newton is going to fail simply cause the 1 guy that resembled him failed.

I think that a lot of people think this because of the pick at the end of the Sugar Bowl. You don't see a lot of a DE's dropping into coverage in college and it is something that fools even the best of NFL QB's from time to time.

His two years starting at Arkansas were littered with idiotic throws.

He's terrible when he's getting pressured. He's not very good at moving around in the pocket and making throws.

If he's got time to set up, there's not another QB in this draft that's better though.

I agree. I am a Titan fan, and hope they take a defensive player, or trade down. This group is very underwhelming.

I strongly disagree. Mallett, Locker, and Ponder all have the make-up, imo.

I realize that Mallett will not be the first QB drafted, and he likely won't be in the top 3 QB's drafted. However, I'd take Mallett and only Mallett in the first round. I see all of the others either being total busts or, at best, NFL journeymen QB's.

Not too high on any for a 1st round pick...I hope the Titans make a move for Kolb or an established veteran this year.

Yea but if it goes past the draft will take a 2012 first is what Reid said....how do u feel about the Hasselback rumor? Bad back and all...
