Top WR groups in the SEC

SEC Network ranked the top WR groups and the Vols were his "surprise" pick at #4 -- behind UGA, Bama, and Auburn.

As he ticked off the names of our guys, he said that when we go FOUR WIDE, it will be tough for any team out there to match up with us. Lots of targets for Worley.

I would love to see us go 4 and 5 wide now and then (like we did in the 80's with Gault and company). It's a nice wrinkle

This ranking is absurd. Auburn does not have a better group than we do. Neither does UGa. I will accept Bama but UT should easily be #2 in the SEC.

Based off last year, Smith doesn't have the hands to catch a ball to save his life. (Although I think he will be much better this year)

Just out of curiosity.... Who's your four players? Maggitt, North, and??? I know you said you love AJ and I'm not doubting that. It just seems like a lot of people undervalue AJ Johnson and I just don't understand that.

You think that a freshman TE that has never played a college game is more valuable than our senior middle linebacker who has 324 tackles in 3 years, and is the leader of our defense?

I don't agree with UGA or Auburn being in the top five. Murray is gone and he made the receivers better than they really were. Auburn receivers have great spend but nothing else can be seen from last year since they ran the ball over everyone.

Unquestioned? We have the best receiver group in the conference and maybe the country. Next year we will have the top group hands down

Honestly if our D is decent, Worley manages the game well, and online is decent , we could really shock people this year. I think Hurd and lane will be a great combo and our WR core is crazy deep.

Honestly if our D is decent, Worley manages the game well, and online is decent , we could really shock people this year. I think Hurd and lane will be a great combo and our WR core is crazy deep.

Our defense will be good. Faster, deeper, more athletic, stronger then last year. Expect 2600 yards from Hurd/Lane/Scott. Worley is the key. The great thing is, even of he is only as good as last year that still should be good enough for 7 wins.

I think it's crazy the amount of talent we have and the amount we are getting. I know we are wide receiver U no doubt but if you look at our running back depth starting next year it's absolutely insane also.

Ok, so I did a little research. Mitchell is a great, but he had surgery again this summer. Outside of him I don't see anything special.
