Tostitos Fiesta Bowl: #4 Oregon vs. #5 Kansas State, 8:30pm ET, ESPN

I remember watching this one. I think it may be the only other one before tonight.

I saw Auburn vs Miss St end 3-2,most boring thing ive ever seen. Also, i dont think a team can have just 1, it was Oregon who scored the TD who got the 1 point safety

In HS and NCAA, you can score one point if you are awarded a safety during a try (extra point). So it would be possible for the defense to score only one point but somehow the offense would have to lose 97 yards and be responsible for putting the ball into their own end zone

As soon as I saw the play tonite, I thought of this. Didn't know the rule existed until that Texas - A&M game.

Interesting

There's a way I'm just not sure quite how. I mean if k.state takes that play to the one and fumbles and the Oregon guy picks it up in play then goes down in the end zone it's a 1 point.safety the other way.

Im just wondering if the AP will award Ohio State a split of a National Championship, its possible

no, they're too far down. If they were seriously considering doing so, they'd have had them at 2 rather than 3.

Plus they'd also have to make up 200 voter points, which is a large gap when you're not even playing a game.
