Cool event and pretty neat I didn't have to leave the house. Would have been cool to see it for a couple minutes but the 40ish seconds here was great.

We stood on our back deck. I agree, it would've been cool if it lasted longer.

The coolest thing to me was how well defined the shadows got. Them having the cicadas going and street lights coming on. Really awesome.

97% and the cicadas chirped some, got a little darker like early evening, otherwise, meh.

The most entertainment was the neighbors down the street hollering "woooooo!".

Evidently everyone was right when they said you needed to experience totality to fully appreciate it.

That was weird. It wasn't even 25% covered when the dogs everywhere around us started freaking out. I didn't know tyhat was one of the effects.

Oh by the way...That was super cool even at 98% here in Harlan. My son drove up 411 to Madisonville from Dalton and got some awesome shots with his fancy camera., he and the Dil took the day off so they could drive up and see it in totality..he said it was one of the most beautiful things he has ever seen.

The glasses in general were dumb. The only cool thing about the eclipse is totality. And you could see that with the naked eye just fine.

The rest of the stuff was worthless.
