I figured since this is one of my favorite times of the year, other may be interested as well.

I'll kick it off with a juicy trade involving my boys and the Bucks.

Nady/Marte for Ross Olendorf (SP/RP), Jose Tabata (RF), Phil Coke (SP- 9-4 3.44 @ AA), and Koustos (OF).

It should only get better ladies and gents. It's like Christmas for me around July 31st!

I think Tex is gone, along with Kotsay and Ohman. I hope I am wrong. We will all know by the end of this road trip.

Yeah, in 5 days, it really depends on how the Bravos do on the roadie. Conventional wisdom says the Braves will become sellers (due to their 17-33 road record) and if so, you have to deal what you can. That includes Tex, Ohman, Kotsay, and maybe Gonzales.

Tex won't be resigned. I'd rather have prospects than Ohman, as lefty relievers are somewhat easy to find, and Kotsay is just plain old.

You saw the Pirates GM say he was looking for 2 A prospects and they backed off. So, Wren may be hardlining.

Injuries and attitude problems. Sounds like he is on track.

But i remember saying that. Still he's only 19.
and he still can't hit. Age is on his side but you don't trade the next ManRam for Xavier Nady.

If I was a yankee fan I would love this deal. They practically stole Nady and Marte from the Pirates.

Trust me, it won't happen.

Hank just brought it up in the meeting to do their due dillegence.

Well Tabata is out for the year, got suspended for his attitude, and obviously didn't make the jump from A to AA like he was projected to.

I still think he has a great chance to be good, but the Yankees had to make a deal for their bullpen and outfield, and this made too much sense not to. Basically it was Ohly and Tabata for Nady and Marte. I will always make that trade.

You think lefty relievers are easy to find? I think there are 20+ general managers that would love for you to come work for them...

Why do you guys want to get rid of Dunn? He will give you 40+ HR and 100+ RBI every season.

The Braves tried to acquire Jason Bay for 4 unnamed prospects but the deal was denied by the Pirates front office.
