just about, he's hit 40 HR for 4 straight seasons and will easily get it this season. The only season where he didn't get 100 RBI was in 06. This is not counting his first first 3 seasons.

been hearing them for about a week now and if i were to predict what happens, i would say Tex will be a Brave for the rest of the season.

That could change quickly, though,
because a front office source from another team interested in Teixeira just told Yahoo! Sports' Steve Henson that negotiations between the Diamondbacks and Braves were "pretty far along." The Braves are said to be asking for a prospect and either Conor Jackson or Chad Tracy in return.

Came out today.

If Arizona is willing to part with Conor Jackson then Tex will be gone, but Arizona doesn't want to trade him.

Angels first baseman Casey Kotchman was pulled off the field during pregame warmups this afternoon at Fenway Park. And there are strong indications he is about to be traded to the Braves for Mark Teixeira, according to a source with knowledge of those discussions. Details are still being finalized, and additional, lesser names are expected to be involved. But Kotchman for Teixeira is the core of this deal.

I would absolutely love this trade for the Braves.

Guy strikes out quite a few based on innings pitched...he must throw hard or have sick stuff from the left side...
