'19 Transfer DB Quincy Riley (MTSU)

MTSU defensive back Quincy Riley is someone that Tennessee would take in our opinion. The former HS track star can move and is raw in the secondary but his athleticism is something that impresses Tennessee.

"Moving to the transfer portal, over the weekend I talked to a couple of sources regarding Middle Tennessee State transfer cornerback Quincy Riley. He has picked up offers from Mississippi State, Tennessee, Indiana and Illinois among others and one source told me that he's not done getting Power 5 offers. As I noted last week, Riley has told Mississippi State that he plans to officially visit the Bulldogs this spring. While that date has not been set just yet, it could happen during Super Bulldog Weekend in April. It is still somewhat early with his recruiting process as a transfer but for now, one source told me Tennessee and Indiana are serious threats."

The All-Conference USA selection understandably spent most of his time watching Willie Martinez work with the defensive backs. Riley, who has an offer from the Vols, has previously visited Louisville as he looks for a new program out of the portal.
